The Time Has Come

Hey guys, it's been a couple days now since the public bashing I took on Tuesday on the radio. I've been thinking a lot about it and I still can't quite figure out why these guys have turned on me the way they have. It's not like I've gone on to become rich and famous and forgotten all about the little people like these radio guys who used to treat me good when I was just starting out!

I would be lying if I said that this hasn't hurt my feelings a little, but it's been more than a little discouraging. Then I get emails from you guys, like this one:

Hey JR,

I've been a long time fan of your show (in fact, your's was my favourite show when it was on the air) , and I have visited the site almost everyday since you went off the air. I was on the Message Boards for a while, but I've never e-mailed you before.

I just wanted to say that I can't beleive how two-faced that Todd (Whatzislastname) guy was. On the video he's acting all friendly and like he never really meant anything... but then he goes and talks shit about you AGAIN? And that e-mail response he sent you just sounded angry and moronic.

I'm glad to see that you're not backing down, though. It's good to see that you're not just going to let that no-talent-radio-jerk walk all over you. I don't think I know anyone who listens to the Edge, and I'm SURE I don't know anyone who has ever heard of this retard, before.
About what you said, calling the show tomorrow morning, I say go for it. I think you should put that turd in his place.

This morning I was up early again and actually thinking about calling Todd on the air, while he was doing the radio show. Then I thought, that's stupid - these guys are on the radio every day, they could just keep bashing me every day if they wanted to. I chickened out and didn't call in.

Well, who gives a shit, right, Jims? I'm going to do it! I'm going to call in Friday morning because this just sucks, it's not fair, it's not right!

Maybe sometimes you just have to know that some people are behind you backing you up when it's time to step up.

Well, that time has come. Are you with me guys?
