Saturday Night With Sloan

What up guys!

I'm still here, I didn't opt for ending this pathetic existence of mine and I'm back to figuring out how in the hell this whole TV thing works in this country.

I've got a nice little fan base established, I've got major corporate sponsors who want to support and be affiliated with the show still and if that's not enough, I've still got a talking wiener that I could pull out at any time to boost ratings if I needed to.

Don't ever grow up thinking you want to be a TV star, kids. Keep trying to be a hockey player or maybe a rock star. This TV thing is whacked, but you might get some beers bought for you once in a while. I met a couple guys the other night on a patio in Hess Village who were fans of the show and they bought me a beer, so that's how I know this. It's always great meeting good people.

On Saturday night at The Kee In Bala, I seemed to be running into a lot of people who used to like the show. It was cool and it makes you feel good, but it's also kind of weird because I'm just some schmuck that some people sometimes recognize as a guy who they have seen on TV. It's just kind of weird sometimes, I'm not sure how to explain it. If I was really rich and famous, I think it would make more sense and I would feel more normal about that stuff, but like I said, I'm just some guy who at the moment, is still just trying to figure out if I should be looking for a job or continue working on my own latenight TV show.

I've got yet another meeting this afternoon with the folks at Global to talk about my show, with hopes of it getting back on the air soon. I'll be sure to keep you all posted.

It was nice of Rob and the guys at The Kee to hook me up last Saturday night, because Sloan put on a great show! The patio was jammed and the band was totally into it. I had a great night! Last night, I stayed in so that I could watch my favourite TV show, Entourage, which is into its second season. If any of you are into this show as much as I am, let me know. If there are enough of you interested in me talking about it here, I'll start recapping what's going on and what I think is going to happen. Turtle is the best, but Vince's agent is without a doubt, the most awesome character on the show. I think season one is out on DVD, so if any of you haven't seen the series, you should go rent it.

I guess I should get back to other stuff right now and I should probably post a Vlog one of these days again. It's been a while since I have done that.

See ya guys,

JR
