A little ink on Grandpa!
I just mailed Larry a thank you card with his $10.00 bucks in it. I think it's awesome when people do nice things for other people especially when the people are complete strangers. That is a truly selfless act of kindness and I guarantee you that if more people just started being a bit nicer to eachother once in a while this world would become a better place to live in for sure.
Anyone ever seen that show on A&E called Random One? I love that show, It inspires me!
On the other side of being polite and nice to eachother, often I make a point of saying "your welcome" kinda loud after I have held a door open for someone and they walk right on by without saying thankyou.I guess it's my way of saying "hey, would it kill ya to be just a little bit polite here". Is it so tough to take a second to be polite? I don't think so! What's wrong with some people?
One time a few months ago I even stopped my car beside someone who tossed some paper garbage out of their car window onto the street. I said Shame on you for being a litter bug as I did the shame on you finger sign. They rolled down their window because they couldn't hear me and in a very happy kind of voice I said once again, "Shame on you for being a litter bug". The lady wasn't sure what to say to me but I hope she thinks twice before littering again.
So before I get back to making more blog's that don't necessarily have anything too meaningful about them, I wanted to let you guys know that I finally scanned a newspaper articles that was written about my Grandpa and I put it on the site here for you guys to read if your interested in doing so.
Click Here to read the article.Remembrance day was last Friday but it doesn't mean that's the only day we should take the time to remember men like my Grandpa and what they did for all of us.Thanks for your interest in what I have had to say in these last few post guy's.Pretty heavy stuff I know but if even one of you took the time to think about anything I have been talking about lately then I'm glad I took the time to blog about it.
Anything interesting on your minds lately? Let me know.
