bE ReaL On TVTropolis
Hey guys, I wish I had more time these days to update my blog and keep everyone up to speed with stuff but to be honest, I guess it's not that I don't actually have the time to update my blog, it's just that I really really really hate typing shit out, you guys know that right? I'm always saying how much I hate sitting in front of this computer/box/ thing here for any length of time.
When I was on the road there for a week shooting the last three episodes of "Be REal" I didn't sit in front of a computer one time. It was awesome!
Being on the road was the best. I miss it a ton! There is an awesome picture of me, Chew chach and a pickle in the picture gallery at www.berealtv.ca check it out! Maybe check out the show tonight as well if you are home tonight at 7:oopm!
I haven't watched myself on Tv in years but even I will be tuning in tonight. As weird as this sounds, I haven't even seen tonight's show yet and I'm curious what it will look like. I know that sounds odd but we shoot about ten hours of footage over the coarse of each day while shooting these episodes and once we are done shooting for the day, I'm done,Im out of the loop, I'm completly uninvolved in the process of turning all that footage into an actual television show.
Unlike anything else I have ever done on Tv, on this new prime time series produced for TvTropolis, I don't have anything to do with the process of editing or assembling any of the footage that ends up airing on Tv each week. After five years of learning how to make low budget television, this is the first time I have ever been involved in the process of making not so low budget television. A network series like this has lots of different people involved and working on it, everyone has a job to do and mine is to show up, be sort of a host kinda dude and contribute as much as I can while we are shooting each day. It's been an interesting experience and tonight the adventure continues because I'll be right there with you guys watching the episode for the very first time just like you guys will be.
Check out all the extra and uncut footage at www.berealtv.ca after the show airs tonight. The website is pretty awesome and if I'm not mistaken, outakes and random footage of the crew on the road will be posted on line each week which is definately something I will be checking out each week over the next couple months. The crew even have blogs that will be updated each week after each new episode airs as well which is more than you get here on my site some weeks from your old Pal Digs!
I totally miss all those guys!
