Weird Night Tonight!
I was on King Street tonight in Hamilton in front of Tony's Corners where we were shooting the show that will air this Saturday night. It was around 7:45pm when some dude walks up to me and asks me if shot a show in Hamilton tonight. I tell him that I was about to and he insist that I already shot it! Dude was kinda sketchy so I happily agreed with him and played along until I realize that he must have just watched "Be Real" on Tv and the episode we shot in Hamilton aired at 7:oopm.
I then tried explaining to him that I have two shows on the air right now and the show he watched on Tv tonight was shot this past summer. That didn't make much sense to him and he didn't really believe me. I tried explaining that the show I was about to shoot tonight is kind of a latenight talkshow although it's not quite one yet and it will be on the tube this Saturday night and he could be on Tv if he wanted to hang out for an hour or so!
Then I remembered that my guest tonight was a lady who was planning on helping me communicate with my dead Grandfather on the show and all the candles and spooky music would for sure totally freak this guys out!
That's when I confused the poor guy so more until he got frustarted and left!(lol)I didn't end up seeing "Be Real" tonight but I checked out the crew's blogs at www.berealtv.ca as well as the show extra's and deleted scenes posted on the site. I'll have to make a point of watching or taping "Be Real" when it airs again on Saturday night because I haven't even seen the episode yet and I remember how much fun it was this summer to be shooting an episode in Hamilton!
