Ill Scarlett rocks the show
Time for another crew blog! Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Stephen, the camera operator and also the web site designer. I was JR's second volunteer, as I came on board right after his very first episode, where he was forced to carry his camera around all by himself.
Eventually, I was joined by two other volunteer camera operators, Dave and Len, who came out to shoot the first live music act on the show, Ill Scarlett. Here they are performing "One-A"
It makes a huge difference having three cameras for a live performance like this. Ill Scarlett was fantastic, they drove into town and spent several hours setting up, just to be on Another Crappy Canadian Late Night Talk Show. After all that work, it seemed a shame to only have them play one song, so we shot them playing "Heaters" as well, and ran it under the credits. Aaron, the editor, got me this clean clip so you can watch it in all it's glory without the credits over top, a special little something for everyone reading the crew blog!
