It's true, Be Real with JR DIGS is on Tv again...
Just spent over an hour driving around aimlessly in my car just so that I could hear the hour of radio I missed earlier today. While Howard Stern is off for Xmas, they are broadcasting "The History Of Howard Stern" which has been produced as filler over the holidays. It's some of the most compelling radio I have ever heard. I don't want to miss one second of it!
I had to drive to the airport in Buffalo this afternoon to pick up my folks who agreed to come home from Florida for Christmas this year. On the two hour drive down there I heard most of todays radio show but I missed the last hour or so and then tonight on my way home from my sisters house, the stuff I didn't get to hear was on so I ended up just driving around listening to the radio for this past hour.
The History of Howard Stern is very well produced and absolutely entertaining for sure but what's really cool is how inspiring I'm finding it all. The early years of Howard Sterns carreer and his complete unwillingness to ever be too negatively effected by people and the never ending cycle of shit some people have to overcome to keep the dream alive, is something I guess I feel I can relate to. I'm amazed how motivated and inspired I have become over these last few days of listening to these radio shows.
After over six years of wondering what to do next and how to keep things rolling along, I've never been as clear headed as I am right now! As for The History of JR DIGS...A bunch of you have been emailing me to say that you noticed that "Be Real With JR DIGS" aired on E! Monday night and again on Wednesday at 10:30pm on E! This is the series that I was nominated for my Gemini award for and it's the show that got me out of dept once and for all and now it's being aired again on E! Not sure what else to say about it I guess.
Can't wait to drive into the city in the morning with a large hot coffee and another new day of radio to listen to!
