HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Have a safe and happy fun filled night tonight everyone! I'm not sure if I'm the only one who isn't even sure what I'm doing yet tonight or has over the last few years become increasingly less interested in pretending to be all jacked and pumped about NewYears but that won't stop me from hoping for those of you who are, have a great night tonight!

Talk to you guys in 2007!

SOLID AS CAN BE!

"Solid" aka "Solid Steve" aka "Steve the volunteer" aka "Steve" has been without a doubt more reliable and dedicated than I could ever expect a volunteer to be. He's solid as can be and over the last few weeks he has been working on getting the site on line and all hooked up with a new server so that my email woes are finally behind me and we can get back on track and get the new site up and running asap.

Looks like Solid has a handle on everything and emails are flowing real smooth like again so I hope some of you guys who may have emailed me in the past but didn't get an email bounced back to you from me because I never actually got your email, will touch base again in 2007. It will be great to hear from all of you guys again now that I know for sure I will be getting your emails.

For those of you who have never emailed me or just started watching Another Crappy Canadian Latenight Talkshow over the last month or so, check out the show tonight and you will see a recap of the very first three episodes including an introduction to Solid Steve himself.

Last Saturday nights Xmas special...

If you missed it, don't tell Andrew the psycho fan, he is pissed off about enough things these days. As soon as we get all set up with a new server and get the new site up and running smoothly, I'll try to get some stuff from the Xmas special on the site for those of you who missed it to check out!

Making Andrew put a dress on for the episode was way too much fun. Glad to hear you guys thought it was funny. Thanks for the props Branden, I can't email you back until Steve finds some time to fix this friggin mess with my email. I thought I would just say "what up" here in my blog because you mentioned in your email that somehow got to my inbox, that you have sent a few emails these past couple months but I haven't recieved any of them and I just didn't want you to think I was pretending too be so busy that I couldn't even email you back! That goes for Shane and Kristin and for you to Mandi who are a few of the people who have sent emails to me lately that actually ended up landing in my inbox.

I hope everyone is having a great week visiting with friends and getting lots of leftovers and all that kinda good stuff.

"Be Real"@7& 11:30pm

Considering the no to now low budget of Another Crappy Canadian Latenight Talkshow and the inability to even be able to hire someone to work on this site and help me with all my email problems ect. It's nice to know that not everything I am involved with lately has been produced and worked on by volunteers and no budget.

It's nice to know that "Be Real with JR DIGS" which airs every Wednesday night on Tvtropolis in prime time of all places, was produced with an actual budget and the website had some money put into it and it looks awesome. Go to www.berealtv.ca and check it out sometime. I always check out the behind the scenes footage on the site to see what was put on line so maybe you guys should as well.

If you check out the deleted scene from the episode we shot in Kingston I suppose some of you might end up being slightly amused at how uncool I have now become. However, if you would also like to see how briliant I have become after all these years of directing television, check out the deleted scene from the episode we shot in Port Dalhousie.

Someday when you see some bigshot director over using the crotch shot in one of his bigbudget Hollywood movies or television shows, you guys will say "thats bullshit" JR invented that shot years ago,its just that they wouldn't put it on television so nobody knows he invented it!

"The crotch Shot" check it out!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I hope everyone has a great day. All I want for Xmas this year is some more good ratings, one more major sponsor for Another Crappy Canadian Latenight Talkshow and two more seasons of "Be Real" so I don't have to worry about money again for a while allowing me to continue goofin off in latenight.

Latenight Tv is the best but Prime time money can inspire anyone to want to keep trying to be funny. Merry Xmas guys, I look forward to blogging lots more over the holidays but until then, I hope you all enjoy yourselves over the next few days and everyone get's lots of turkey and all that good stuff.

Happy, happy holidays everyone!!!!!

WHAT DID I DO.....

Aside from lots more video and cool interesting stuff to make the new site a place you guys want to check out every couple days, expect also to be way more involved in stuff here at jrdigs.com!

Maybe the "WHAT DID I DO" game is something we should start playing right now.

Recently I was in an airport bathroom taking a number one. Two guys to my right were talking about how often one of the guys gets recognized by people and how often people approach him to say hi. The dude who apparently gets recognized by people all the time was commenting on how he doesn't mind at all that people come up to him to say hello. As a rule of thumb I think it's a good idea to look straight ahead and sometimes downward when taking a leak in a public bathroom. That being said, at some point during this conversation between these two guys, my curiousity got the better of me and I had to find out who dude was three urnils down from me.

It was dude from that Tv show "Ed" that use to be on.I don't really know his name but I recognized him for sure. So what do you think I did next....

1)Did I mummble to myself kind of out loud "wow, dude from that show Ed is taking a massive pee right beside me".
2)Did I lean towards him and whisper, "hey you are that guy from Tv, and I can almost see your weiner, that's hilarious".
3)Did I think about all the funny things a guy could say at that very moment but realized how awkward that moment would quicky get so I just kept looking forward, listening to their conversation and taking a pee just like any normal guy would.

It's the WHAT DID I DO Game. Right here at jrdigs.com

Happy yet bewildered!

Happy to be holding a cold tasty Molson Canadian, the first major sponsor of Another Crappy Canadian Latenigth Talkshow!

Bewildered by all the friggin problems we have been having with are server and pissed to find out that tons of emails being sent to me over the last four or five months never got to me and can't even be retrieved. Just recently I discovered that half the emails I have been sending lately have also been swallowed into this black hole place at my server. What the what?

To top all this off, I haven't been able to post any blogs on the site here in weeks as if you guys haven't noticed.I'll try and catch everyone up on some stuff this weekend if I can find some time to post a big huge blog update.

Yes I'm very happy yet bewildered these days. Steve assures me that he will make sure I can post updates to my blog here over the holidays and as soon as he can, he will find a new server for the site. We have been building a very cool new website that will include way more video and fun stuff for you guys to check out each week. There isn't much point in getting the new site on line until we know for sure the friggin thing isn't going to crash on us two days after we put it on line.

Stay tuned for the what did I do game...

Big day for Rob and Lonna!

No time to blog today guys. I have to go buy a tie and get rolling so I'm not late for my cousins wedding today. Rob asked me to be the MC at the reception and I can just hear the whispers in my head now from the crowd. "This guy has two Tv shows? Isn't he suppose to be funny? Uncle Donald would have been way funnier than this! When are his shows on Tv anyways?"

The answer to that last question can be answered on the home page and I really gotta get going here so have a great weekend everyone.

When I have more time I'll blog about the time we spent with Bret Hart yesterday shooting footage for Another Crappy Canadian Latenight talkShow and I'll elaborate a bit on last weeks big annoucement that after a few weeks in a row of awesome ratings Molson has jumped on board as my first major sponsor which will help me out alot in the months to come$$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Guess who's in the rabbit suit.

Pete Rainford from The Hamilton Spectator took these pics of us while shooting a segment for the show this past weekend. Thanks for sending them to me Jody. It's cool to be able to post pic's like this here in my blog.

After a little encouragement from are mascot, we got changed and hit the hardwood knowing full well that the only way we had a chance is if we could be fast like rabbit's...

Hot Sause and High Rise were the main attractions on the basketball court but I think everyone in the crowd agreed that are basketball uniforms were stunning to say the least...

I was the Team Captain which should be obvious from the cap I was wearing. Kayvon cracks me up. I should get him to start blogging about all the fun times we are having these days making Another Crappy Canadian Latenight Talk Show. Look for the new crew blog to go up here on the site any day now. With all the new volunteers who have joined me over the last bunch of weeks I thought it might be fun to let you guys get to know some of them a little better.

It would be great to find someone with awesome web design skills who might want to start helping me redesign the site one of these days. I have lots of cool idea's for how I would like to change and improve the site but Steve who kicks ass as a volunteer camera guys and web dude doesn't have nearly enough time right now to start modifying and changing the site. He is still trying to find more time to figure out how we might be able to retrieve all the emails that were sent to me and went missing over the last few months.

Any weboholics out there?

&ONE vs THE JR DIGS RABBITS!

I just got back from picking up a white fluffy rabbit suit that we will need tonight when we are shooting footage of me and the gang taking on the "&One" street basketball team at Copps coliseum in Hamilton! This is going to be ridiculous!

I won't spill the beans about who will be the head cheer leader in the White rabbit suit for us tonight but I've been told that he refuses to play any sports so instead of just standing around watching us, I'm joining to make him be the mascot! Like I said, this is going to be hilarious and friggin ridiculous tonight.

On Another Crappy Canadian Latenight Talkshow tonight, some people in the Country will end up seeing the show that was suppose to air everywhere last weekend but didn't because of some mix up at the Network. After tonight, the entire Country will have heard the big announcement that I was looking forward to talking more about here in my blog so hang tight and I'll blog back again sometime over the next day or so about how this good news will be changing things around here in the weeks and months to come.

Keep spreading the word about the show because it's about to get way more interesting and probably way better than it's ever been and because the show is an insignificant no budget little show, without you guys continuing to get the word out, we have no way of promoting or making more people aware that the show is even on the air Saturday nights.

Have a great night everyone.
